Drawing from over 25 years of experience, including serving as the former Director of College Guidance in the private independent school community, Heidi has developed a keen insight into the challenges students and parents face. This expertise allows her to swiftly identify and address their pain points, facilitating a supportive environment for students embarking on their college admissions journey. Her dual role as an educator and life coach equips Heidi with the necessary tools to guide students toward growth and self-discovery throughout this crucial period of their lives.

With an outstanding educational foundation, including a B.A. in History from the College of William and Mary and an M.A. in History from the University of Alabama, Heidi brings a deep understanding of academic contexts to her practice. Complementing this, her Certificate in College Counseling from UC San Diego and time as an Emory University application reader ensures Heidi has the specialized knowledge required to guide students through the complexities of the college admissions process. Additionally, as a Highlands Certified Consultant, Heidi leverages the Highlands Ability Battery to help students gain deeper self-awareness and align their strengths with their academic and career aspirations.

Heidi’s commitment extends beyond immediate challenges. Reflected in the name Gray Vision Method, her mission is to inspire students to envision their potential. Heidi demonstrates this ethos through her personalized and empathetic journey-driven support to each client. However, you don’t have to take our word for it. We believe our results speak for themselves!

When Heidi is not helping families, she loves baking and spending time with her husband, Alan, and son, Leo, a recent college graduate.
